Summary An oral history created as part of a Wayne State University Libraries project, to document Cass Corridor culture during the 1960s-1980s. The interviews were conducted by graduate students in an oral history methods course within the Archives Program of the School of Library and Information Science under the direction of Dr. Joseph Turrini. Russ Gibb talks about his life growing up in the Detroit area, his education, his involvement in radio, and the Grande Ballroom.
Note Russ Gibb is a retired teacher, concert promoter, and was creator of the popular music venue, the Grande Ballroom.
