Summary An oral history created as part of a Wayne State University Libraries project, to document Cass Corridor culture during the 1960s-1980s. The interviews were conducted by graduate students in an oral history methods course within the Archives Program of the School of Library and Information Science under the direction of Dr. Joseph Turrini. Bud Spangler talks about his musical influences and his work in Michigan and Detroit in radio and television.
Note Bud Spangler is a jazz musician, radio program host and director. He served as producer/director of the WSU TV Department from 1967-1971 and jazz program director of WDET from 1971-1975.
